A Key Ingredient To Getting More Clients To Your Sassy Website

I’m sure it’s safe to say that most of you do. After all as a small business owner that is one of our constant challenges.

Ensuring we have a steady stream of potential clients wanting to do business with us.

Now for the most part the majority of people these days will use the big ol search engine “Google” to look for products and services such as yours. And sure it’s not the only way people search but let’s just play the odds and say most do.

The good news is you’re off to a great start as you have one of our web packs.

But here’s the thing unless you are coming up in the top 3 natural listings on Google (even if you are on our Traffic Pack) you are missing out on a lot of clicks to your website.

So we want to help you start improving your rankings.

But first, let’s look at the value of the top positions of Google.

If you get your website to No 1 you are going to get between 32-45%* of people searching for your product or service going to your website.

That’s 32-45% of all searches, that’s like having a shop front with thousands of your “ideal client” walking past your shop each day.

Drop down to position 10 and you are only going to get 2-5 % of clicks and page 2 well that’s like being in a shop tucked around in a back alley, if someone finds you that’s great, but odds aren’t looking great!

I share this with you just so you can get an idea on how important it can be to your business to get higher on the search engines.

But before we get ahead of ourselves (if you don’t want to pay for traffic services or SEO) we will need you to do some work.

Don’t worry though, we can keep it as simple and easy as you want.

Here’s what you need to do though, because:

Google Loves Frequent Updates = Fresh Content

Provide us with “Fresh Content” to add to your website for you.

What’s that really mean? I hear you ask, good question.

It can be any of the following:

● A new page/blog post of content
● Feature a client story
● Show images of recent projects or completed jobs
● Adding testimonials
● Video a client testimonial or job
● News and events about your industry
● tips & advice for clients: ie “The 3 things you need to do before hiring a ……”

It really can be anything that is related to your business or clients. Does not need to be complex. It just needs to be relevant to your market place. Because at the end of the day that’s who we are trying to help!

The most important thing is just to do it, as most your competitors will not.

So how do we add the content to our website?

Well you do remember that our web packs (other than web starter) have monthly maintenance included. So that’s the great part send it to us and we will do it for you. You can if you are super keen do it yourself if you want to do it weekly.

But it is as easy as sending us the content and we’ll handle it for you.

Now there is a caveat here, Google absolutely loves fresh content but it is no guarantee that you will get to the top spots. If you are competing in competitive market place where some of your competitors are paying for SEO services or have long established “authority” with Google
that may not be enough to get the top positions.

But look at it like a farm, constantly adding good, relevant fresh content is like sewing hundreds of seeds and this gives Google reason to keep coming back and checking out your site and massively improves your chances of better rankings.

So set aside some time each month to do this, as mentioned it can be as simple as sending us some images of recent projects with a description (or if this just really sounds like too much work you can get us to do the SEO for you).

Remember why you’d do this, clients…so the investment of your time is worth it and take a long term outlook, as we want to help all our clients own their space online.

Now it’s over to you, set some time to get some content together and over to us…

Also over the next couple of weeks I’ll be sharing more information on what you can do to try and make it easier for you.
