One of the strongest marketing tools a business has is its existing clients. It’s the age old parable of acres of diamonds (a story about a guy who goes hunting for money only for someone to buy his old property and discover diamonds in the backyard). So instead of just focusing on getting new clients, here is a great way (and cost effective) to grow your business.
First you will need to have a database or crm (customer relation marketing software), this is where you store your clients information and then use that to send them promotions each month.
And a good way to work out what to send to your clients is to simply look at the calendar. Is there any special days, holidays, events that you can use to create a promotion for your clients.
An obvious one is Mother’s day, it is the perfect storm for salons and spas for all those families out there searching for what to get mum, and we think there is nothing better than a pamper package!

Good question, you just do… You can do a “Freaky Friday Halloween Promotion” Do you pull your hair out each halloween with the thought of taking the kids around the streets, loading them up on sugar and making it home before the sugar crash? Now I know that is a pretty average example, but just get creative and have some fun with it. After all, a little fun from time to time can really help your clients engage on a deeper level with your business.
